Police have made an appeal for a woman who went missing more than 30 years ago.

On December 28, 1979, June Ellena Brockway, then aged 43, discharged herself from Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

After leaving hospital she went to her home in Saltburn Road, St Budeaux, in the city, packed a bag and left.

The case is Devon and Cornwall police's longest-running missing person inquiry.

PC Ian Watson, said: "We have no recorded sightings of June in the last 33 years.

She would now be a 76-year-old lady and is the longest-standing missing person for Plymouth."
