Wreckage of the boat of a Cadgwith man who died after being pulled from the sea last week has been recovered.
On Wednesday, December 4, a search was launched around the Lizard after angler Chris Newton failed to return home from a fishing trip.
A crew on board the survey vessel Triad pulled the 65-year-old from the water, but he later died in hospital.
The wreckage of Mr Newton's 13ft boat was recovered by the RNLI's Plymouth and Salcombe lifeboats.
A spokesman for the RNLI said the wreckage was spotted 12 miles south of Eddystone lighthouse at around 8.50am on Monday.
Devon and Cornwall Police said Mr Newton's death was being treated as unexplained and a report for the coroner was being prepared.
